On Saturday night we went to a fun event here in town called "Balloons on the Prairie". It is sponsored by OSF Hospice in Peoria and took place in a big field right by the OSF building. It was suppose to have a balloon launch at 6pm, a balloon glow at 9pm and then fireworks at 9:30pm, but because of weather the 6pm launch got cancelled. Luckily there was LOTS to keep us busy until the glow and fireworks.
The kids had fun on the "fun on the run inflatable's".....
The kids also loved their chocolate ice-cream cones with sprinkles.....
Rena had a lot of fun on the swings....
All of us had fun dancing in the field waiting for the balloons.....
Only 2 balloons actually went up. They offered tethered balloon rides, but we passed on that.....
There were quite a few balloons and the kids had fun looking at all of them.....
We ended the night with a fireworks display.....
We actually ended the night with a van full of 3 very tired kids! Rena was asleep before we even made it out of the field. The other two made the 5 minute ride home awake (barely), but went straight to bed from the van. It was another fun night!

That looks like alot of fun! And all those wide open spaces and sky! Wow, fun to see!!
That looks like fun. I love Rena's purple head band also. She does a very good job of dressing herself!!!!!!
What a great day! I can see why the kids were so tired after all that fun! :)
