Last weekend we spent a long weekend in Las Vegas celebrating my 40th birthday. It was a GREAT weekend!!
It started on Thursday night -- we left our house around 4pm and arrived at the condo in Las Vegas at about 9pm. When we got there Stacy, Megan, Alex, Dad and Bonnie were all there to welcome us. They had the room stocked with food and fully decorated with balloons and streamers for my birthday!
We had a great time catching up and then Stacy went to the airport to pick up Mike. We had a three bedroom condo and got to spend the whole weekend together.
Thursday night......
Friday morning we got up and hit The Strip for some exploring. I'm not sure where we were in half of these pictures, but it was all fun to see......
We ended up at The M Hotel and Casino for their buffet lunch. Just a few pictures of all of us enjoying good food and GREAT company! :) .......
After all of that eating we headed over to Freemont Street to see the overhead light show......
When we got there we discovered that there is a zip-line that runs above Fremont Street so Megan, Alex and I decided to try it out. This is me (in the black) and Alex and Megan, (but Alex and Megan are really hard to see!)

After Freemont Street we headed back to The Strip to see The Bellagio outdoor water/light show and then checked out the inside of the casino (and took a few more pictures!)......
On Friday night (late Friday night) Peggy and Tami arrived from Illinois and Gimi, Paul, Haley and Scott arrived from California. They all arrived at our condo around 1am to drop Peggy off and then the rest of them went to their own place about 15 minutes from us.Saturday morning -- happy to be together!.....
We met everyone back on The Strip and spent the day walking around sightseeing and visiting! We started at New York New York so that the "big people" could ride the roller coaster. The kids just had to wait for us.....

Later that night we ended up back at The Bellagio (with NO kids) to go to the show "O" and have some adult time in the casino.....
Sunday morning (February 19th) - my 40th birthday......YIKES!We started the morning with a stop at the Las Vegas sign for another picture.....
We then headed to Dad & Bonnie's house for a little birthday celebration. Stacy, Bonnie and Dad went to a lot of work to have us all in their house for cake, presents and fun - and it was perfect......
We turned the cake into a cake for 3 -- Haley's 18th, my 40th and Rena's 8th birthday.....

After cake we headed to another buffet (yes, we did things backwards with cake first, but it just fit into our schedule best!).......

The rest of us all head BACK to The Strip to do some more looking around. We made a stop at the M&M Store and The Coke Store and then made the long walk down to Ceaser's Palace, The Bellagio and Treasure Island for the Pirate Show. Again, not sure where all of these pictures were taken, but they were somewhere on The Strip that night......
Monday morning came way too quick!! While some of us were packing up the condo to leave, Jeff took the kids down to do some swimming......
After we checked out of the condo, Peggy & Tami headed to the airport while the rest of us made one last stop for food. Stacy, Megan and Alex were staying one more night with Dad and Bonnie, but Paul, Gimi, Scott, Haley and us had to hit the road back to California.Rena got to open a few birthday gifts from Stacy and from Dad & Bonnie before we left......

The drive home was NOT fun. The traffic was horrible, but luckily the kids were great. Cameron was so tired from the weekend that he spent a large part of the 5-1/2 hours sleeping......part of the time with a sucker in his mouth!......
I really can not explain or describe how GREAT the weekend was!! It makes me so happy when we are all together. Unfortunatley it was for only a weekend and it went by way too fast and really was just NOT long enough!! The only other bad part about the weekend was that I turned 40 years old! :(........ But, hey -- it was a good excuse to get everyone together! :)
