THE BULLDOGS

Cameron is a bulldog! He is playing fall ball baseball and is having a great time! All of the games are on Sunday's and he had a GREAT game today. He got 4 hits and scored 3 times and was sooooooo excited!

Time for a drink after running those bases......it was close to 90 degrees today and it was HOT out there playing.....

waiting for some action in right field.....

SAFE at first.....

In action at third base.....

After the game.....Way to go Cam.....

A picture that has nothing to do with Cameron's baseball game except that Maleah and I were at Cameron's game playing around with the camera when we took this..... :)

A BABY BROTHER?

Sorry, Maleah........but, NO WAY!!!

Last week I babysat our little 2-year old neighbor and Maleah decided that she really needs to have a little baby brother. She was the only one home with me in the afternoon and she thought it was soooooo cool that Benjamin played with her and that she got to be in charge of the remote control when they were watching t.v.......

I think Benjamin was bored with me when Maleah wasn't home.....he feel asleep in the middle of the girls floor right on top of Elmo.....

He is cute and was fun.....for a day.....and I have promised Maleah that we will babysit again and that she can go over to their house and play with Benjamin whenever she wants to. She was ok with that and has stopped asking for a baby brother! :)

SUNDAY IN TACOMA

We spent our day on Sunday touring Tacoma. Our first stop was The Tacoma Glass Museum. We parked at the Tacoma dome and took the free train downtown.....

Pretty glass.....

After the Glass Museum we made a stop at the Valley Pub, forever known to us as the Valley Tavern (as was originally named by Grandma and Gaggie when they first opened it over 50 years ago). It was a little early for a drink (and Megan & Alex were waiting in the parking lot), but it's always fun to stop in and take a look around.....

Our next stop was Stadium High School. Dad taught here for years and they have recently remodeled the school so we stopped for a look. It really is a beautiful building.....

Dad's name is on this brick (you can't see it, but it's really there).....

Stacy, Peggy and I were going down memory lane on this fire escape.......20 years ago when dad was teaching here his room was up on the 4th floor and during one of Peggy's visits we decided to climb this fire escape to surprise him......yes, he was surprised.....and probably a little bit embarrassed too!

After Stadium we headed to Ruston Way and the waterfront.....

Stacy was less than thrilled that we were singing Happy Birthday to her at The Ram -- (the mud pie was good, tho!).....

After our busy, fun day.......it was time to relax and have a drink! :) Peggy had a few too many.....

OK, these drinks were really mine and Tami's......but Peggy really was there in the bar with us!!! :)

Peggy went home before us, but she was in good spirits when we woke her up coming in at 2 o'clock in the morning.....

Unfortunately Peggy didn't even get to go back to sleep.....she got up and Stacy took her to the airport. Our fun weekend was over! :( And, YES, it was FUN!! I just love it when we are able to all get together. We laughed the whole weekend and just had a great time together.....I can't wait until we can do it again!

SATURDAY IN PUYALLUP

On Saturday morning we all headed down to The Farmer's Market in downtown Puyallup. We looked like tourists with all of our camera's going off......but it was fun.....

Saturday afternoon we kept ourselves entertained in Stacy and Mike's backyard. The quad's were a big hit....the best part of it was watching Peggy ride with Megan......I'm surprised Megan could even drive with how hard she was laughing.....

Ok, Peggy's ready -- go Meg......

Uh-oh, Meg actually stepped on the gas, now Peggy's nervous.....

One-time around and they were laughing so hard that they had to stop and take a break.....

Saturday night we stayed at the house, sat around the fire, roasted marshmallows, drank some good drinks and had some really great laughs!! Some "old" stories started surfacing and I think we shocked Dad and Peggy with some of the memories we were sharing.....of course we had to stick with the "mild" stories, though, because Megan & Alex were there! :)

Whew......another long and FUN day -- night, night, Peggy.....
