THE CHILDREN'S DISCOVERY MUSEUM

We spent the morning today in Normal, Illinois at The Children's Discovery Museum. It took us about 45 minutes to get there, but was worth the drive. The kids had a good time and there was a little something for everyone to do.

They had a neat climbing structure in the middle of the museum that went up through all 3 stories of the museum. All of the kids had fun on this -- which surprised me -- even Maleah got in there and did some climbing.

This was all about air. You hold the ball in front of the tube, push the button (that starts the air flow) and the ball stays in the air. Neat??? Maleah thought so!

Rena and Maleah really enjoyed this one -- a glass painting wall.....

They had as much fun spraying the glass with water and cleaning it as they did painting.....

Rena put on a show for me on stage with musical instruments and a little dance she made up.....

I think Cameron found everything that there was that could be built with. He loves to build.....

And I even got to "play". I think this was suppose to be some sort of learning experiment, but I just got on because it looked like fun! :)

I know we will definitely be visiting this museum again in the near future!!
