CAMERON'S BIG BIG DAY!

CAMERON IS 6 YEARS OLD
AND
CAMERON STARTED KINDERGARTEN
(All on the same day!)

The day started today with Cameron's favorite breakfast -- pancakes! He decided that since he is now 6 years old that he is probably old enough to flip his own pancake. So, here he is flippin' his own pancake at 6 o'clock this morning!

After breakfast it was time to head to school. He will be in the afternoon kindergarten class for the year, but on this first day he had to be there at 7:45 in the morning. He's dressed in his favorite Star Wars t-shirt and ready to go.

Here he is out front of the school. He's there (with his Star Wars backpack on), but not quite ready to go in yet.

Here he is in the building -- outside of his classroom......still not quite ready to join the class yet.

And, here he is when he finally HAD to join the class. He was a little scared and nervous, but he had a GREAT first day and is ready to go back tomorrow!

While Cameron was at school the girls and I made some cupcakes to celebrate Cameron's birthday.

After school we went to McDonald's for lunch and then back home for a few more presents. Oh my -- more Star Wars!

Here's Cameron thanking Rena with a big hug for getting him the Obi-Wan Kenobi that he's "been dying to get"!

Time for a final celebration............cupcakes and ice-cream with the neighbors!

Cameron with his friend Joey that lives right across the street.

Cameron with his friend Zachary that also lives across the street -- right next to Joey!

It was a busy, fun day for Cameron -- he had a great 6th birthday and survived his first day of kindergarten!!

It looks like Cameron had a great day. I am glad that he decided he liked school once he got there. I hope he has a great year.
