FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Last Monday, the 20th, was the kids first day of school.  Jeff took the kids and picked them up since I am subbing in a Kindergarten class at a different school right now, but everyone was up and ready to go before I had to leave.

Cameron is ready for 4th grade........

Rena is ready for 3rd grade....... 



Maleah is ready for 2nd grade.......

They were all ready for another great year!......

......and it started out good -- they all had a great day!

END OF SUMMER

Well, we've been back in school for a week now, but the week before we went back we managed to squeeze in some more fun!  One of our friends is a member over at The LaCosta Resort and Spa and she invited us to spend the day with her, her kids and another family out at the pool.

Since all of the kids that we were meeting at the pool were girls Cameron got to bring Max along!

It was a fun way to end the summer! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMERON!

Cameron is now 10 years old!  His birthday was last Sunday, but we went out to dinner on Saturday night to celebrate.  Cameron chose Chinese food.  It was so good that we decided to get a little extra so that we would have LOTS of left overs for his birthday (and so we didn't have to cook!)  :)

I think Cameron had a pretty good birthday......and we all had fun celebrating with him!

CAMERON'S 10 YEARS!

Today Cameron turns 10!!  How did that happen?  I like to look back at the pictures through the years on the kids birthdays.  I posted Cameron's professional pictures from ages 0 - 6 in 2008 here...... Cameron's 6 year pictures .......but haven't "looked back" since.  So, here goes -- these are all taken on or near his birthday each year.......

August 19th, 3:00am, -- Dad, Bonnie and Megan (laying with Bonnie on the couch) in the hospital waiting patiently for Cameron to arrive.......

2003 - Cameron is 1!



2004 - Cameron is 2!  (Apparently it was hot that day because all of the pictures that I have Cameron is only in a diaper!)

2005 - Cameron is 3!

2006 - Cameron is 4!

2007 - Cameron is 5!

2008 - Cameron is 6!

2009 - Cameron is 7!

2010 - Cameron is 8!

2011 - Cameron is 9!

CAMERON'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Last weekend we had a birthday party for Cameron to celebrate his 10th birthday!

We got another bouncy for the weekend, but this time we went for the BIG one with slides since it was for big boys!

Unfortunately this past weekend had a couple of the hottest days of the summer so trying to bounce without overheating was not an easy thing to do.  Maleah used the fan/water mister to help her stay cool!

Jeff decided to get in the bouncy and create problems, but the boys were able to defend themselves......

Cameron got some fun stuff from his friends -- a couple of Ninjago sets, The Lorax movie, a book for making paper airplanes......

After Cameron and his friends got a few hours in the bouncy by themselves the girls were allowed back in......

It was a full bouncy once the girls were back!......

Cameron's best birthday present was a special song written and performed by Grace and Jacinda.  Rena had the honor of introducing them......

Grace and Jacinda were trying to give Cam a little birthday kiss on the cheek, but Cameron wanted nothing to do with that!......

We had one full bouncy by the end of the night......
