This is Rena "pumping" the stuffing into her bear.
She had to give it a big squeeze to make sure it had just the right amount of stuffing in it.
Here's the heart that she started pumping to put inside her bear before it got stitched up.
Finally, before getting dressed the bears had to take a bath and get brushed! And then there was the dressing -- Rena's bear tried on 3 different outfits before she picked out the perfect one!
When we got home from building our new bear we gathered up all of the binkies that we could find and put them in this envelope to send to Binkey Land. Rena even added some colorful stamps to the outside to make it look pretty! And she was very excited that other boys and girls that were littler than her would get to use her binkies.
Then we were off to the mailbox...............
..........but when we got to the mailbox we weren't so sure that this was a good idea.
And once we put the envelope in the mailbox Rena was positive that it was NOT a good idea!!
I'm not sure how long it took or how many times Rena dressed and undressed "Princess" in bed tonight, but she eventually fell asleep -- without any binkies!!
And, yes, Cameron got a new bear also. He named his "Firefighter". Poor Maleah didn't get one, but she didn't seem to care. She helped Rena and Cameron make theirs and never even fussed about getting one. So, I decided to save the money and get her one when she really cares about it! Luckily she's too young to remember "the day that Mom bought Cameron and Rena bears and not Maleah"! :)
Cameron liked the dragon ride, but couldn't figure out how to make his dragon go up and down.....he spent the whole ride up in the air -- but had a lot of fun!
Seattle Center had a bunch of these inflatable rides set-up in the center. Cameron loves bouncing and sliding down them. He didn't like the lines that he had to stand in to get on them, though. (Actually, maybe it was me that didn't like the lines!)
We were out at The Center yesterday to watch Megan perform with her gymnastics team. She did a great job again and we had a fun day seeing Mike, Stacy, Megan and Alex. Unfortunately Rena and Maleah were sick so Jeff stayed home with them. Rena was NOT happy when Cameron & I left the house without her -- and she didn't even know where we were going. Luckily Cameron didn't rub it in to much when we got home and we haven't shown her any pictures yet!
The gorilla's were a big hit........and I almost skipped right by them on our way out -- glad I didn't. Maleah has a jungle book that she loves right now and she especially likes the gorilla page. You ask her what a gorilla says and she pounds her chest and says "ouh, ouh, ah, ah".

Here are the kids actually all sitting in one place at the same time. It's Rena, Maleah, Cameron, Sara and Sydney.
At this moment Rena wasn't real happy to be at the zoo. It was a pretty cold day and Rena didn't like cold hands -- we didn't have gloves with us so we wrapped a hat around her hands!!
The girls got new bike helmets today and now everyone is protected and ready to ride! We went down to a local hospital that sells the helmets and does free fittings. Cameron already had a good helmet, but the girls needed new ones. Luckily they really like to wear them -- they even wore them this afternoon when they weren't riding their bikes. Now we just have to hope for good enough weather to get outside and use them!!
Cameron & Rena started swim classes on Tuesday. Since Rena is now 3 they can be in the same class and I don't have to get into the water with either of them! They are both doing really good. Rena was a little upset on the first day, but they have a cryer (actually he's a screamer) in their class and I think that upset her. Plus, she didn't know where I was towards the end. She did great today (despite the fact that the screamer is still there) and she's already taking about going back next week!
Surprisingly, Maleah has been happy hanging out with me while Cameron & Rena swim. She is even happy when we are right by the pool and she is buckled in her stroller. I sure hope this attitude continues! :)

Rena got some really great gifts for her birthday -- thank you to everyone! All 3 kids are having fun playing with her new things.....including the paint samples that her good friend Campbelle gave her! 
Balloons, balloons and more balloons!! 
This is one of the things that I swore I would never do when I had kids............."I swear I'll never dress my kids alike!". Well, the girls got matching dresses (different colors atleast) and when I put Maleah's on her this morning Rena decided that she should wear hers also. And so here I have done something that "I swore" I would never do!! :)
Rena had a very big day yesterday.......first she made her first trip to the "beauty salon". The whole way there we had a discussion about how Cameron goes to the barber shop and Rena goes to the beauty salon. She did great and, of course, looks cute! 
After the beauty salon we went to Kidzbounce where Rena went down the big slide for the very first time. She had a great time and was very proud of herself!
Rena is 3 years old today!
