The day after Maleah's birthday we headed to Maui for a 10 day vacation!

WE MADE IT! At the rental car place picking up our car -- it was about 11pm in Hawaii -- which made it 2am San Diego time. Everyone was pretty happy considering the lack of sleep and time.
When everybody woke up they were starving and since we didn't have any groceries yet we decided to go out to breakfast. We walked from our condo over to the Hyatt for their breakfast buffet. It was GOOD and we had fun too.
The big excitement during breakfast was all of the birds that were flying around. It was an open restaurant and the birds were definitely finding plenty to eat. They were not shy about flying right up to your table -- they flew low and they were quick -- the kids thought it was fun!

Not sure what's up with Maleah here - probably trying to annoy Cameron!
We stayed at The Marriott Ocean Club and had a really nice room. The view, however, was not the greatest. If you stood on our balcony and looked straight out it was good -- beautiful, huh?
The problem was.......if you looked down (or didn't have on ear phones) you saw all of this lovely construction! Wasn't the best room location, but we just told ourselves -- we are still in Hawaii and we aren't spending a lot of time in our room so.......be happy with it! :)
