Last weekend was all about soccer. It was "Championship weekend" and it all started at 4pm on Friday night with Maleah playing 3 games. Unfortunately it was a cold, rainy night to be out on a soccer field. The girls were still able to have a lot of fun and did really good.

Maleah's team won all 3 of their games so she got a special medal at the end of the tournament. I wanted just a "normal" picture, but here's what I got......
Finally, sorta normal.......
Only 12 hours later we were back at the exact same spot for Rena's tournament. She played only 2 games and they won 1 and lost 1, BUT.......big excitement -- RENA SCORED HER FIRST EVER GOAL!!!!! It was pretty exciting. She was all smiles and so happy!! I have to admit, though, I think I might have been even more excited than she was. Good job Rena......
After Rena's tournament we met her team over at her sponsors place to have an end-of-season party. Rena and her friend Makyla.........
Rena got a trophy and a soccer ball signed from all of her teammates. Her coach had great things to say about her and said she was the most improved on the team this season.........
It was a great soccer season and we are very proud of both of the girls. They got out there and gave it their all no matter what position their coach put them at.
Way to go Maleah and Rena!!!

Congratulations on the metals. It looks so funny to see you all out in the rain. It looks like you are back here. I love Maleah's posed pictures. She should be a model!!!!! I like Rena's face paint also. It looks perfect...
