We planned to leave the house at 9:00 -- finally at 10:00 we hit the road. We had to make one stop at a friends house and then finally arrived at the zoo at 10:45. Rena didn't feel good by the time we got there (she was fine when we left the house) and Maleah was upset about something (still don't know what) by the time we got to the front gate. So, here we are taking a picture (with Maleah upset & not even looking up for the pic) before heading indoors. BUT -- Oops, once we finally got everyone and everything organized and made it to the front gate.......I left the tickets in the car!!!

We really did have a fun day and got to see almost everything that we wanted to see. We even rode the Skyfari (which Rena did NOT want to ride) at the end of the day to get the overhead view. We did have to skip the Hippo Trail at the end, though, because we were all out of energy! Next time we'll start there!

That looks like fun. I need to win the lotto so that I can come back. I think I will go buy a ticket. :)
