MORE FUN IN THE SNOW

Jeff & Cameron built this snowman last night while the girls and I stayed indoors and took a hot bath!! The girls aren't much fun in the cold weather!!
Cameron wanted daddy to pull faster!!
Rena wanted daddy to slow down!!
Maleah just wanted daddy to STOP!!

It took us longer to get ready to go outside than the amount of time that we actually spent outside!
Rena was very concerned about the reindeer being dirty and decided that she needed to clean him off.
Maleah did pretty good, but wanted me to carry her most of the time. She did a lot better walking on the driveway where the snow wasn't so deep, but of course she wanted to follow Cameron & Rena everywhere they went!
Cameron LOVED being outside........once he got gloves on his hands! 

OUR FIRST GINGERBREAD HOUSE


Cameron, Rena and I put together our first ever gingerbread house. The kids had a lot of fun except that they wanted to eat more frosting and candy than was put on the house. It was alot of work -- even though I went the easy route and bought a "do-it-yourself" kit!
This is what Maleah did to keep herself busy while we were working on the house! 

A HEAD INJURY AND A NEW DOG

Cameron took a little fall on Thanksgiving night at Stacy & Mike's place that sent us to the Emergency Room. Luckily, they were able to glue the cut rather than do stiches. He was so great during the whole thing. Jeff & I were really proud of him and can't believe how big of a boy he is. He did everything that the nurse and doctor asked him to do and once the initial hurt and bleeding stopped he hardly cried. We had some pouting and whining, but I'm sure I probably would have been doing that too!! :) While we were at the hospital he was just very concerned about whether or not he was going to get a popsicle and whether or not there was going to be a cupcake left for him when we got back! He's doing good now and actually thinks the glue is kind of cool. He also likes his new dog that he got at the hospital. This morning he actually gave his bunny to Rena (he has slept with his bunny every night since he was born). We told him not to give it away, though, so he ended up just loaning it to her.

We were lucky this year that dad & Bonnie were home to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. We also celebrated with Mike's parents.......Jim & Marilyn. It was a nice evening (except for the trip to the hospital!).!

A DELICIOUS MEAL





Stacy & Mike hosted Thanksgiving dinner. As usual, we very much enjoyed the food and the company!! The kids got to sit at the "tall table" (until Rena decided that Maleah's baby chair on the floor looked more comfortable) and all of us adults (and Maleah) got to sit together. It was a great meal! 

A PRE-THANKSGIVING GET TOGETHER




On Wednesday afternoon my dad & Bonnie brought Megan & Alex up to our place to "hang-out" for the afternoon. The kids had a great time doing crafts and just playing!

Rena decided the other day that this was her "angry face". She wasn't mad or in trouble or anything........she just decided that she should have an angry face!
And, of course, if Rena has an angry face Cameron has to have one too!

DINNER AND A MOVIE

Jeff was gone for the evening so the kids and I had a very informal dinner in the living room while watching one of the kids' favorite shows.......Franklin on Noggin'. (Notice how all 3 sets of eyes are focused above me on the tv instead of at the camera!) We also followed up dinner with a brownie and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". I'm sure the kids could get use to this -- and so could I!! :) 

A FUN MORNING WITH OUR FRIENDS

Sara and Maleah are the babies in the group. Sara is just 2 months older than Maleah.

Sydney is inbetween Cameron & Rena age-wise and both kids have fun with her when she comes over. She likes Cameron's trains and dinosaurs and loves Rena's princess dress-up clothes!

While Jeff & I were trying to work on some projects in our room the kids decided to take every piece of clothing that Cameron owns out of the closet, scatter them on the floor and put a few on......not in the right spots!

Cameron & Rena don't leave a drop in their bowls when they're eating ice cream!
