SILLY KIDS!

Megan & Alex stayed with us for a couple of days last week. We had a fun time with all of these silly kids together. Megan loves to take pictures and have pictures taken so she was in charge of all of the poses and action in the pictures.

THE PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER

We spent the day yesterday with Stacy, Megan and Alex at the Pacific Science Center in downtown Seattle. All of the kids (including Stacy & I) had a fun time. There was a lot to see and do (as you can see from the pictures)................Here's Megan, Alex, Cameron, Maleah and Rena at the fountain right inside The Center.

DELICIOUS RASPBERRIES

We spent the morning this morning out at the U-pick raspberry farm at Remlinger Farms out in Carnation. It was a fun morning for everyone. The kids really thought it was fun.........especially Rena -- she was still picking while we were up paying. Now I just have to figure out what to do with all of these raspberries. Looks like I'll be making some jam in the next day or two! :)

OUR 4th OF JULY HOLIDAY

We ended up just staying home yesterday and having our own 4th of July celebration. We got some fireworks, smoke bombs and sparkles. We didn't make it until dark, but the kids still thought it was all pretty cool.

Some of the fireworks were too loud for the girls. (Although they did also cover their ears on the ones that didn't make any noise at all!)

We had 3 of these parachute guys, but 2 of them ended up landing in trees. The girls didn't seem to mind too much.............Maleah just kept saying "BUMMER" and pointing to the tree where one of them now lives!

Since the weather was so nice on the 3rd Jeff & Cameron decided to "camp" out in the back yard for the night. It was Cameron's first time sleeping outdoors and he loved it. He's ready to do it again......and so is Rena -- she's pretty sure all 3 of them can fit in the tent!!

We had a lot of fun just playing outside in the nice weather.
By the end of the night more than one person was in need of a bath!!

MALEAH'S 2 YEAR PICTURES

A FUN WEEKEND

We had a FUN weekend this past weekend. We spent the afternoon on Sunday with our friends The Brenne's and The Slater's at the Emerald Downs Horse track. It was Family Day there and they had some different things set-up for the kids to do. Both Rena and Maleah gave the pony rides a try.............they both did great and had fun until the horses started to move. They didn't last for the whole ride, but they both made it around a couple of times before we had to stop the ride and get them off.


On Saturday we went to a carnival up at The Issaquah Highlands. They had some rides and games for the kids, we had a picnic lunch and we ended the day with a sno-cone for everyone!!
Cameron actually thought this ride looked like a lot more fun before he got on. Maybe he's getting too old for these little rides???
