MALEAH'S "BIG GIRL BED"

Maleah had her first night in her "big girl bed" last night and she did great! She went to bed quietly and easily and she slept all night long!! She even waited for me to come get her this morning instead of crawling out on her own. I'm afraid that's not going to last long, but we are very proud of her on her first night.

Poor Cameron is sleeping on the floor (on a mattress) for now until we get his room ready. We are going to move Maleah in with Rena and Cameron is going to get his own room. He was actually very excited about his new bed (on the floor) and is even more excited at the idea of getting bunk beds in his very own room!

FUN WITH FAMILY

We had a busy and VERY FUN week this past week. My aunt Peggy from Chicago, my cousin Gimi and her family from California and my dad and Bonnie from Las Vegas were all here visiting. Everyone was here for our cousin's wedding yesterday. It was a beautiful wedding and a fun reception. The whole week was great -- Cameron, Rena and Maleah had so much fun with all of the cousins! If only we all lived a little bit closer to each other............

MALEAH IS 2

Maleah is very excited about her special day. We've been talking about it for weeks and all of the kids have been looking forward to it. The only problem is that Maleah thinks she is turning 3 instead of 2.........she wants to be just like her big sister Rena!

Maleah loved her chocolate cake on her 1st birthday!
