LEMONADE FOR SALE

The kids (especially Rena) have been wanting to do a lemonade stand all summer long. I kept putting them off.....until yesterday.....when we finally had a lemonade stand. Rena and Maleah made the signs (with Megan's help). They originally wanted to charge 50 cents a cup, but when I got home from the store with little cups we changed it to 25 cents.....

We didn't get many customers, but the kids still made $26. Funny story -- 2 guys stopped and after they stopped they realized they didn't have any change or bills smaller than a 20. So, they paid the kids 20 bucks for 2 cups of lemonade. I felt bad and tried to give them the whole pitcher, but they said "no" and were just laughing when they drove away.....

We weren't selling much so Maleah decided to just drink the lemonade herself.....

Personally, I think that it was these legs that got the cars to stop.......ha, ha, ha..... :)

(Although, we didn't have many cars stop........wonder if it was the legs!) :(
